About the Role We are looking for a skilled Machinist to contribute to our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts. Your expertise in interpreting technical drawings and applying your knowledge of machining techniques will ensure the precision and efficiency of our production processes. Responsibilities Develop, refine, and implement CNC programs to optimize machining processes. Operate CNC machinery to manufacture components that adhere to strict engineering specifications. Set up and skillfully operate manual lathes, saws, and cutting tools to achieve precise tolerances. Conduct thorough inspections and perform necessary maintenance to uphold equipment functionality. Diagnose and resolve operational and quality-related challenges to maintain production standards. Adhere to operational and safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Manage entire cell/area or multiple machines concurrently to maximize output. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a proficient machinist. Required Skills Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and prints. Competence in using computers, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Proficiency in writing and editing CNC programs. Expertise in setting up and operating manual lathes and other machines to meet exact specifications. Preferred Skills Ability to change tooling and set up machines according to required machining sequences. Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. Basic maintenance skills. Ability to manage your machine with minimal supervision.
