You will coordinate closely with the parts team and vendors to maintain smooth workflow and exceptional service. Your efforts will help keep the dealership's parts department running efficiently and support the needs of shop technicians and wholesale accounts.What You'll DoAs a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:Picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors, ensuring prompt and accurate service.Communicating with the parts manager, wholesale representatives, and shipping staff to coordinate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.Verifying that each invoice matches the purchase order before departure and checking payments received against invoices.Maintaining an accurate record of daily deliveries and pickups, requesting signatures upon delivery for proof of receipt.Unloading the truck at the end of each shift and turning in all paperwork and undelivered parts.Performing basic maintenance on the delivery vehicle, including fueling, checking oil, and cleanliness, as well as reporting major repairs to management.Assisting with stocking and posting incoming orders to expedite deliveries to technicians and wholesale customers.Maintaining a professional appearance and workplace environment at all times.What You'll BringThe ideal candidate for this role will have:Previous experience in delivery driving or route-based services, especially working with customers - this is mandatory.Ability to lift 45-50 lbs consistently, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing throughout your shift.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the last 3 years.Experience operating a 24 ft box truck with a lift gate, including reversing in urban environments.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Why Join Us in Salem?Be part of a long-standing company with over 80 years serving the Salem community and beyond.Enjoy excellent benefits once hired permanently, including health coverage and career growth opportunities.Work in a supportive team environment with a focus on professionalism and service excellence.Location & Schedule:This position is on-site in Salem, Oregon, and offers weekday hours from 7am to 3:30pm, with some routes requiring longer days to complete deliveries.Ready to Take the Next Step?If you're eager to start a rewarding career as a Parts Delivery Driver in Salem, apply today or contact our recruiting team to learn more.
