CDL Water Truck Driver

RedStone Construction Group is currently accepting applications for a Water Truck Driver wanting to advance their construction career. The ideal candidate will be able to drive a Class A CDL water truck/trailer combination while transporting small units of construction equipment throughout Arkansas.This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Must be able to operate a manual transmission. Class A CDL & Tanker's Endorsement.Key Responsibilities:Transports milling crew equipment between construction locations.Demonstrate knowledge and skills required to maneuver, load, and unload small construction equipment on heavy equipment trailers.Loads, unloads and transports water via 4,000-gallon tanker truck.Maintains a current medical certification.Conducts daily preventative maintenance checks on truck and trailer units.Demonstrate proper chain securement procedures for equipment transport.Knowledge and ability to navigate the area of central Arkansas to complete delivery requirements.Communicate with milling crew manager for delivery locations and times.Operates 4-wheel power brooms, and skid teers units with attachments.Supports traffic control operations when required.Position Requirements:Valid Class A CDLCurrent Medical Card.Must be able to comply with DOT Requirements.Work independently as well as take direction.Clean driving record.Follow all applicable laws and regulations.MUST have 2 years minimum verifiable experience transporting heavy construction equipment.The applicant must be able to follow directions and safety regulations, written and verbal, in English.Applicants must have both reliable transportation and reliable means of communication.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:Work environment is consistent of an office and facility with construction equipment inventory and repair/service shop and may also include construction job site.Noise levels can be loud.Safety training required; PPE required outside of office/parking lot area.PPE must comply with site specific requirements.Occasional lifting may be required up to 75 lbs.Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time with frequent bending and stooping.Job Type: Full-time, HourlyWhat We Offer:Health, dental, and vision insurance401k eligible after 1 year of employment with 100% company match up to the first 4%.Life insurancePaid time offParental leaveReferral programIf you are not sure this is the job for you, contact us at jobs@redstone-cg.com to learn more about other opportunities we have available and see what we can offer you.Visit us at https://redstone-cg.com/careers/ for more information about our company.* Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and other characteristics.
