Vice President of Sales
What You Will DoReporting into the Executive team, the Vice President of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing sales organization, and shaping go-to-market strategy. This person will provide strategic direction to a high-caliber sales team across mass retail, club, grocery, and other channels. This is a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to influence business decisions while building structure, accountability, and momentum across the sales function.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue and profitability.Lead, coach, and develop a team of 12–15, including Directors and Key Account Managers.Oversee performance across multiple channels including mass, club, grocery, and homecenter and hardware stores.Serve as a key member of the leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategic planning and decision-making.Establish KPIs and drive accountability to ensure team and company goals are met.Provide strategic oversight of customer relationships; participate in key meetings (e.g., annual reviews) as needed.Drive channel strategy and optimize performance across each segment.Partner cross-functionally, particularly with New Product Development, to support product launches and innovation.Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.Bring structure, clarity, and consistency to a team evolving across channels and account ownership.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.15+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally within CPG.Proven experience leading and scaling sales teams.Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on accountability, team development, and performance management.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Solid financial and analytical acumen, including forecasting and budget management.Able to work in-office in Pennsauken, NJ, three days/week.Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision options401(k) and company matchAdditional insurance offeringsPTO and paid holidaysCar allowance
