Our internships create opportunities for interns to establish important relationships with experienced professionals.Kayne Anderson Rudnick is seeing a highly motivated undergraduate intern to join our Fixed Income team within our Wealth Advisory group for this summer. This opportunity will be 8-10 weeks and will be in our Los Angeles office.What You’ll Learn & Experience Exposure to fixed income investment analysis within a wealth advisory platformHands-on experience evaluating performance and return drivers using industry toolsInsight into municipal credit analysis through issuer data and third-party researchUnderstanding of how fixed income strategies support client portfoliosCollaboration with investment professionals on analytical and ad hoc projectsKey ResponsibilitiesUtilizing a range of financial analysis tools to assess Fixed Income performanceExploring innovative methods to calculate returns, helping to identify variables responsible for differences in outcomesReviewing credit metrics from municipalities we hold by examining data across platforms such as MRSB's Emma system, S&P Credit analysis, issuer internal websites, Bitvore, and additional sourcesCollaborating with the Fixed Income team on assorted ad hoc projectsIdeal QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (rising junior or senior preferred)Strong PC and Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and ExcelAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsProtect confidential documents and materialsProactive thinking capability and ability to exercise good judgmentThe hourly pay will be $25.00. This position is not eligible for benefits or incentive compensation.
