Elementary and Secondary SchoolsAdministration of Economic ProgramsEducational Support ServicesSpecialty (except Psychiatric and Substance Abuse) HospitalsManagement, Scientific, and Technical Consulting ServicesJOB SUMMARYProvides strategic and instructional leadership for the district’s dyslexia program across assigned campuses, ensuring consistent implementation of high-quality, evidence-based literacy instruction that leads to measurable student growth.Leads the development, execution, and continuous improvement of systems for early identification, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with dyslexia, ensuring alignment to state requirements and district priorities.Serves as a partner to campus leaders by coaching, supporting, and building their capacity to implement dyslexia services with fidelity. Establishes clear expectations, monitors progress through data cycles, and provides targeted support and feedback to ensure campuses meet compliance standards and improve student outcomes.Oversees program implementation, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Collaborates with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure coherent systems that integrate dyslexia services within the broader instructional framework.Ensures accountability through ongoing monitoring of key performance indicators, timely compliance with state and federal guidelines, and implementation of action plans with defined milestones and timelines to address gaps in practice and performanceEDUCATIONMaster’s Degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferredWORK EXPERIENCE• 3–5 years teaching experience in reading, dyslexia, reading intervention, or special education • Experience with dyslexia identification and instruction (required) • Campus or district leadership experience (preferred) • Experience with ARD/504 processes and compliance systems (preferred)To be considered for this position, please submit your application through our careers site.
