If you enjoy bridging design, fabrication, and operations, this is the kind of role where you'll make a visible impact.Job SummaryThe Manufacturing & Design Engineer leads the design and execution of complex engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget. You'll be involved from concept through production, owning design, improving manufacturability, and helping streamline processes through automation and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define products and create detailed drawings to support machining, fabrication, and assemblySet up routers, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and item data within ERP systems for new projectsInterface cross-functionally to define requirements, align priorities, and manage project scopePartner with sales to develop cost estimates and routing times for new projectsSupport manufacturing through tooling, fixturing, and automation including robotic and orbital weldingDrive process improvements across fabrication, welding, and polishing operationsDevelop and manage project plans, Gantt charts, dashboards, and tracking toolsIdentify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on trackWhat They're Looking ForStrong background in mechanical and/or manufacturing engineering within an industrial environmentExperience designing for manufacturability in fabrication, welding, or machining environmentsHands-on mindset with the ability to work closely with production teamsProficiency with 2D and 3D CAD (Autodesk or similar)Experience working with ERP systems, BOMs, and routing structuresAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced settingQualificationsBS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience5–10 years of relevant engineering experienceExposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plusWhy This Role Stands OutHigh visibility role with direct impact on production and product deliveryStrong mix of design and hands-on manufacturing engineeringOpportunity to drive automation and process improvementsCollaborative environment where engineering plays a key role
