Envelope Machine Adjuster – Third Shift

*Overview* Envelope Machine Adjuster – Third Shift *Location:* Richmond, VA *Schedule:* Third Shift / Nights *Pay: DOE*+ Shift Differential + Minor Overtime *About the Opportunity* This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in *envelope manufacturing, paper converting, folding equipment, printing, packaging machinery, or similar production equipment* who is looking for a stable position with opportunities for growth. *Key Responsibilities* * Set up and adjust envelope folding machines between production jobs. * Perform machine changeovers for different envelope sizes, styles, windows, gum, printing, and other specifications. * Adjust equipment to maintain production speeds and meet or exceed established targets. * Assist Envelope Machine Operators as needed. * Complete required production paperwork and pull production samples. * Communicate machine condition, job status, production progress, and other relevant information during shift handoffs. * Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. * Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * Previous experience setting up, adjusting, or operating production machinery is strongly preferred. * Experience with *envelope machines, folding equipment, paper converting, printing, packaging, bindery, or similar machinery* is highly desirable. * Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. * Ability to make precise machine adjustments to maintain product quality. * Ability to read and follow production instructions and specifications. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with production team members. * Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred. *Physical & Schedule Requirements* * Must be available to work *third shift/night hours*. * Must be willing to work overtime as needed. * Ability to stand for most of the work shift. * Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. * Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms. * Ability to regularly lift up to *75 pounds*. * Ability to work safely around operating production machinery.
