Job DetailsDescriptionPrincipal Accountabilities:Enter sales orders into the Eclipse system and pick customer order tickets.Merchandise and stock products on displays and in self-service areas.Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections.Emphasize product features based on customers’ needs and technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitationsAnswer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.Efficient and effective loading and unloading of trucks.Inspects materials according to instructions and reports damaged goods.Process inbound materials to the warehouse. Compares quantities shown on packing slip or manifests with actual items received.Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.Ensures materials are placed in the designated area within the warehouse.Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas. Cleans up and disposes scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and places in the proper container or assigned area.Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, shelves, pallet area, workstations, and counter area neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.General housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, dusting, empty trash.Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition: check fluid levels and tire pressure: notify Branch Manager before obtaining or scheduling required repairsMaintains truck operating efficiency by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; scheduling repairsLoads delivery truck with product securely-avoid damagesDelivers items by identifying destinations; establishing route; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining scheduleUses cell phone to report on the progress of deliveriesPicks up returns items for the companyVerifies products delivered against packing slip and has customer sign receipt.Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaintsEnhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requestsPerform other duties as requested.Minimum Education/Experience RequiredHigh School Diploma or its equivalentValid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL Class B or C preferred)Knowledge, Skills, Abilities RequiredCritical thinker-using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutionsMathematical reasoning- ability to choose the correct method or formulas to solve the problemAbility to learn Eclipse softwareMust be very detail-oriented and focused for accuracyAbility to perform assignments with minimal supervision and under tight deadlinesMust have strong interpersonal communication skillsMust maintain a patient and professional attitude while managing a busy workloadStrong Organizational Skills RequiredMust be able to determine and prioritize workloadWe offer a competitive salary and an outstanding benefits package, including the following:MedicalDentalVisionVoluntary Term LifeMedical & Dependent Care Flexible Spending accounts401kPaid Time Off (PTO)Holidays-8 paid daysBenefits covered 100% by Connor Co. for full-time employees include:$10,000 in life insuranceShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityTo learn more about Connor Co., please visit us at www.connorco.com.Please apply on our job board: Connor Co.
