Filemaker Developer
Role : FileMaker DeveloperLocation : Sunnyvale, CA (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid)Duration : 06+ Months Required Skill:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience (X+ years) working as a FileMaker Developer.Strong knowledge of FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server, and FileMaker Go.Experience with FileMaker scripting, calculations, and layout design.Ability to integrate FileMaker with external systems using APIs, ODBC/JDBC, XML, and JSON.Familiarity with relational database concepts and database architecture.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug applications.Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Skill:FileMaker certification (FMPC, FMPA) is a plus.Experience in cloud-based deployments of FileMaker solutions.Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain custom FileMaker applications for various business processes.Should have knowledge on FileMaker V 2024 (21.02) and advanced scripting.Good knowledge of Integrations, UX/UI, and Plugins used in current apps 360 works and Base elements (open source).Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Optimize and enhance existing FileMaker systems for better performance, usability, and functionality.Develop custom scripts, layouts, and reports within the FileMaker environment.Integrate FileMaker solutions with third-party tools, APIs, and external databases as needed.Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve bugs in a timely manner.Ensure data integrity, security, and backup processes within the FileMaker system.Train end-users and provide documentation for solutions delivered.Stay updated on the latest FileMaker features, functionalities, and best practices to incorporate into projects.
