Culture CLASS Academy is seeking a motivated, creative, team/community driven teacher, eager to join a school community of excellent educators. We are looking for someone with proficient collaboration skills, a drive to meet regularly with team teachers and administration to have solution driven conversations, and someone who has a passion for really getting to know their students and families on a deeper level. We achieve excellence in education through teacher directed hands-on learning, individualized student class placement methods, and manageable class sizes. Our students' strengths are in reading, math, writing, science, and public speaking. Minimum Qualifications Experience teaching 1st grade – 5th grade curriculum, across all content areas. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field Ability to work 40hrs per week and until 5:30pm Maintains current First Aid/CPR Certification or able to become certified within 30 days of employment. Maintains current Oregon Food Handler’s Certification or able to become certified within 30 days of employment. Maintains certification for Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse or able to become certified within 30 days of employment.
