Job DescriptionEndocrinology opening in Pueblo, COLocation: Pueblo, CO – Colorado Springs 45m, Denver 115mCoverage Type: Outpatient ClinicFull-time Permanent Overview: Practice Setting: Outpatient Endocrinology clinic Full-time outpatient clinic schedule Average patient volume: ~15 per day Established outpatient endocrinology practice Adult patient population only Focus on management of: Diabetes, Thyroid disorders and Osteoporosis Ultrasound capability available in clinic Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) being added to practice EMR: Epic Patient-centered, collaborative care environment--- Skills Required: Diabetes management Thyroid disorder treatment Osteoporosis management Endocrine diagnostic evaluation Outpatient endocrine care planning--- Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (within 5 years of residency) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism (within 5 years of fellowship) Active Colorado license or willing to obtain DEA (must be obtained prior to start) NPDB Self-Query within 30 days of presentation Visa sponsorship not accepted Clean malpractice history preferred--- Compensation Info: Salary Range: $265,000 – $300,000 annually Quality and/or productivity bonus may be offered Relocation package available for eligible candidates Comprehensive benefits package CME allowance Malpractice provided--- About the Area:Pueblo, CO, with a population of around 110,000 residents, is a historic and welcoming community located along the Arkansas River in southern Colorado.
