This role is essential to ensuring the continuity, consistency, and effectiveness of control-related activities across the organization.The ideal candidate brings strong data analysis skills (Excel-heavy), hands-on experience working in Jira, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to drive control execution and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Controls ExecutionExecute and support ongoing information security controls in alignment with organizational policiesValidate control activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and complianceMaintain documentation and evidence supporting control executionData Analysis & ReportingAnalyze large datasets using advanced Microsoft ExcelDevelop reports, dashboards, and summaries to support control tracking and performanceUtilize pivot tables, formulas, and visualizations to identify trends and insightsJira Workflow ManagementManage and track control-related activities using JiraProcess and update tickets, ensuring accurate workflow progressionMaintain visibility into task status, blockers, and completion timelinesCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with application teams, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teamsCommunicate requirements, status updates, and issues clearly across all levelsEnsure alignment and coordination for control execution activitiesProcess & Continuous ImprovementSupport process improvements related to control execution and reportingIdentify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to workflows and data trackingContribute to strengthening overall control effectiveness and operational efficiencyRequired QualificationsExperience executing or supporting information security or IT controlsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (large datasets, formulas, pivot tables, reporting)Hands-on experience with Jira, including workflow and ticket managementStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholdersStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsExperience validating and maintaining information security controlsFamiliarity with Jira Kanban workflowsExperience with Microsoft Teams and SharePointBackground in risk, compliance, or security operations environments
