Windchill Developer

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Windchill Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Windchill PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) solutions to support our engineering and business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to customize workflows, enhance system performance, and integrate Windchill with other enterprise applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, and customize PTC Windchill to meet business requirements.Implement and maintain Windchill Workflows, Lifecycle Templates, and Object Initialization Rules (OIRs).Create and maintain customizations using Java, JSP, Engine, and Windchill APIs.Support Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, and PartsLink.Integrate Windchill with ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system issues and performance problems.Collaborate with engineering, IT, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.Ensure Windchill system upgrades, patches, and migrations are completed smoothly.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).3+ years of experience developing and supporting PTC Windchill PLM.Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, JSP, and Web Services.Experience with Windchill customization and configuration tools (Workflow, OIRs, ACLs, UI Customizations).Familiarity with CAD integration (Creo, AutoCAD, etc.) is a plus.Understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and application servers (Apache/Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
