Social Media Manager – Alpharetta Convention & Visitors BureauThe Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is seeking a creative Social Media Manager to help promote Alpharetta as a premier leisure and group travel destination. As a key contributor in marketing the City, you’ll manage content creation across social platforms, lead influencer collaborations and inspire visitors to explore and stay in Alpharetta.What You'll DoManage all social media efforts (paid and organic) across all social channels.Develop engaging photo and video content that captures the energy of Alpharetta’s hotels, attractions, dining, and community events.Build and nurture relationships with influencers, bloggers, and creators to expand Alpharetta’s reach.Maintain and organize the CVB’s visual libraries (photos and videos) and content calendars.Contribute to online communications, including the Alpharetta Insider Blog and bi-weekly newsletter.Monitor social conversations and stay on top of tourism and digital trends through active social listening.Collaborate with team members to align all campaigns with the CVB’s marketing and public relations goals.Qualities We're Looking ForA storyteller who understands how to translate a destination’s energy into compelling digital content.A creative strategist with hands-on experience managing multiple social media platforms, running campaigns, and producing high-quality photo and video/reel content.A multitasker who thrives on balancing big-picture planning with daily posting, community engagement, and performance tracking.A trendspotter who stays curious about the latest in influencer marketing, platform updates, and tourism best practices.An outgoing personality who exemplifies Apharetta's high energy.Other Important DetailsThis is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area.
