The RN prioritizes care efficiently in a fast-paced urgent and emergency (ED) environment while collaborating with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.Provide Safe, High-Quality Patient Care - Deliver direct nursing care using the nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting patient care across urgent and emergency conditions.Prioritize and Coordinate Care Efficiently - Triage and manage multiple patients using approved clinical protocols and evidence-based standards to ensure the right level of care at the right time.Respond Effectively in Emergency Situations - Demonstrate clinical competence during emergencies, including rapid assessment, intervention, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.Collaborate and Educate - Partner with physicians, patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care, provide patient and family education, and support safe discharge planning.Lead, Delegate, and Support Team-Based Care - Delegate care appropriately, supervise LPNs and non-licensed personnel, serve as a clinical resource or preceptor, and contribute to quality improvement, shared governance, and patient safety initiatives.Graduate of an accredited nursing program- Minimum ADN required; 1 year of Emergency Department experience or 18 months of ICU experience required~ Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State RN license~ Ability to float to other PRESNow facilities as neededWe're all about well-being, starting with yours.Presbyterian employees have access to a fun, engaging and unique wellness program, including free on-site and community-based gyms, nutrition coaching and classes, mindfulness and meditation resources, wellness challenges and more.About Presbyterian Healthcare ServicesPresbyterian exists to improve the health of patients, members, and the communities we serve.
