They analyze complex logistics infrastructures, lead RFP/RFQ processes, and use data-driven insights to improve cost-efficiency, route planning, and technology adoption, acting as a bridge between client requirements and operational executionHow you create impactStrategic Solution Design: Analyze a client's current logistics infrastructure to design bespoke end-to-end solutions that optimize for cost, speed, and reliabilityBid and Proposal Management: Lead or support the RFP/RFQ process, evaluate commercial requirements, and define strategic solutions in proposalsProcess Optimization: Implement continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance operational standards and supply chain program management.Operational Implementation: Oversee the onboarding of new clients and ensure that designed solutions are implemented effectively, managing the transition from design to operations.Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze performance, track wins/losses, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Vendor Management: Collaborate with carriers to optimize costs and service qualityCross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise between sales, operations, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with product strategiesClient Relationship Management: Act as a consultative partner, presenting design options to senior leadership and building long-term trust-based relationshipsWhat we would like you to bringBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering is often preferred3+ years of experience in global logistics or freight forwardingStrong understanding of shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs proceduresProficiency in MS Excel, BI tools, and TMS/WMS softwareProven ability to present design options to clients and internal stakeholdersAbility to design long-term logistics strategies and Skilled in overseeing project timelines, specifically for implementation.What's in it for youThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
