As a purpose-driven company at the forefront of energy innovation, we are tackling one of the world’s biggest challenges with cutting-edge technology and an extraordinary team.Role OverviewAs the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will help create polished, brand-consistent materials that support Sales, Product Management, and company leadership. This is a hands-on role focused on overall company branding, clear technical and commercial messaging, high-quality PowerPoint presentations, sales collateral, and visual storytelling.More specifically, your role will focus on turning input from Product Management, Technology, and Sales into professional decks, one-pagers, web copy, event materials, and customer-facing messaging for battery cell manufacturers, automotive OEMs, and other advanced technology customers.You will create and manage the full calendar of events for company outreach including industry conferences, webinars, and various panel sessions. This role will also manage the company’s social media presence and support executive social messaging, ensuring that company updates, thought leadership, and leadership communications are clear, professional, consistent, and aligned with the brand. Please note: this position is fully onsite and requires in-office presence 5-days-per-week in Santa Clara, CA.Key ResponsibilitiesMessaging & Content DevelopmentDevelop product messaging, value propositions, customer benefits, and short-form copy for technical, commercial and executive-level B2B audiences in support of value-based selling.Create and evolve sales collateral, product overviews, one-pagers, case study-style content, website copy, email copy, and digital assets in alignment with the company’s product roadmap, engineering advancements, end customer markets and applications, and global expansion. Presentation DevelopmentCreate, edit, and polish executive, sales, customer, and event presentations in PowerPoint with strong layout, visual hierarchy, graphics, and brand consistency.Translate technical and commercial information into clear, compelling, value-based slides for sales meetings, customer discussions, trade shows, webinars, and internal updates.Sales Enablement & CollaborationWork closely with Sales to develop practical sales collateral, tools and presentations, account-specific materials, and customer follow-up that help convey the company's value proposition to various end customers and personas.Maintain reusable presentation templates, approved slide libraries, charts, icons, and messaging so teams always work from current, on-brand materials.Organize marketing and sales assets so teams can easily find approved decks, copy, imagery, logos, and templates.Event & Trade Show SupportDevelop and manage the annual event and trade show calendar, including applying for speaking slots, organizing internal preparations, and maximizing impact by working with event representatives and employee attendees.Develop booth graphics, presentation decks, handouts, signage, talking points, and follow-up materials for industry events, trade shows, webinars, and technical forums.Coordinate timelines, deliverables, vendor inputs, and content reviews for event-related marketing materials.Branding & Visual StandardsApply and maintain company brand guidelines across presentations, collateral, website content, event materials, and internal communications.Improve the visual consistency, formatting, tone, and professionalism of marketing and sales materials across teams and channels.Communications ManagementSupport internal and external communications, including employee townhalls, announcements, executive messages, press release drafts, customer updates, and thought-leadership content.Engage employee community to ensure consistent messaging across leadership, product, sales, and customer-facing communications.Company & Executive Social MediaManage and execute company social media content, including LinkedIn posts, company updates, event promotion, product messaging, and thought-leadership content.Support executive social media strategy and messaging by drafting posts, refining leadership voice, and ensuring executive communications are aligned with company positioning and brand standards.Coordinate with leadership, Sales, Product Management, and Technology teams to turn company news, customer insights, technical milestones, and event activity into clear, professional social content.Maintain consistency in tone, messaging, and visual presentation across company and executive social channels.Digital Marketing & Online PresenceMaintain website copy, product pages, news updates, LinkedIn posts, and other digital content so materials remain current, accurate, and on brand.Prepare social, email, and web content that supports regional awareness, sales activity, and event follow-up.Quality, Feedback & Continuous ImprovementCollect input and feedback from Sales, Product Management, and leadership to improve the usefulness, clarity, and quality of marketing materials.Maintain version control, naming conventions, and review processes for presentations, collateral, and messaging assets.Keep templates, slide libraries, and core messaging current as products, customer needs, and company priorities evolve.Required SkillsContent Production: Hands-on experience creating sales collateral, one-pagers, web copy, event materials, digital assets, and presentation content.Collaboration: Comfortable working with product, sales, technology, and leadership teams to gather input, confirm accuracy, and refine materials.PowerPoint & Visual Communication: Strong ability to design polished, executive-ready and customer-ready PowerPoint decks with clean layouts, strong visual hierarchy, and accurate content.Brand Consistency: Experience applying brand standards across slides, collateral, digital content, event materials, and internal communications.Writing & Messaging: Clear, concise writing skills with the ability to simplify technical information for commercial audiences.Project Coordination: Ability to manage deadlines, inputs, reviews, and version control across multiple stakeholders and projects.Social Media & Executive Messaging: Experience managing company social media content and supporting executive messaging, with strong judgment around tone, positioning, audience, and brand consistencyAttention to Detail: High standards for formatting, grammar, visual quality, brand consistency, and final presentation polish.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, design, business, or related field.Experience: 5-10+ years in marketing communications, sales enablement, branding, presentation design, or B2B content development; technical or manufacturing environment preferred.Tools: Advanced PowerPoint skills required; experience with Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva, website CMS tools, CRM systems, and basic analytics is helpful.Portfolio: Ability to share examples of polished presentations, branded collateral, messaging, or sales enablement materials is strongly preferred.Compensation & BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $185,000 per year, which represents the low and high end of the salary range for this exempt position. The exact salary offered will depend on experience.
