At APS you will work in a small company environment where excellence is rewarded, an entrepreneurial spirit is encouraged, and you will have the chance to work with colleagues and customers that value innovation and creativityJob Functions And Responsibilities Develop and process Risk Management Framework documentation to obtain Approval to Operate for systems through Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and other agencies.Provide ISSO support for our Groton, CT and Concord, MA locations.Conduct secure computer maintenance and auditing functions.Review new secure computers in accordance with DISA and JSIG requirements and the Risk Management Framework process.Assist with directing System Administrators in maintenance responsibilities.Perform other security functions as necessary to meet mission requirements.Assured File TransfersDocument DestructionVisit RequestsClassified Meeting SupportClassified Account Requests for APS Systems and Other Agency Systems Document ControlPolicy ReviewsWork closely with our ISSM, Security Manager and Security Team to maintain our security posture.Position RequirementsBased in Concord, MA with the expectation to travel to Groton, CT up to one day a week.Good knowledge of the DISA STIGS, NIST 800-171 and Risk Management Framework.Excellent communication skillsMust possess a current Secret security clearance and have the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance, which typically requires US citizenship and a thorough background investigation.Desired Attributes And SkillsRecent experience supporting Information Systems maintenance functions including auditing system access and usage.Familiarity with eMASS along with SCTM and Test Result Documentation.Familiarity with Compliance Checking and Vulnerability Scanning.DoD 8570 Technical Level II certification will be required within one year of start.APS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the General Dynamics Corporation, offers competitive salaries, excellent benefits, and comfortable working conditions.Qualified applicants are invited to submit a resume and application online at www.aphysci.com , fax them to 860-495-1744, Attn: Human Resources, or mail to the company address.
