Mechanical Program ManagerSeeking an experienced Mechanical Program Manager to support the Design & Construction team with a focus on MEP projects and BMS delivery. This role oversees multiple projects simultaneously and serves as the primary liaison between internal design stakeholders, GES Design & Construction, external design teams, and general contractors. The position drives standardization, technical excellence, and successful execution across building sites.Team culture balances strong collaboration with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram ManagementOversee multiple MEP projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standardsDevelop and implement program strategies, processes, and best practicesAlign MEP initiatives with broader organizational goalsProject Planning & ExecutionDevelop detailed project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clientsMonitor progress and adjust plans to meet objectivesTechnical LeadershipProvide subject matter expertise on MEP systems and BMS deliveryReview and approve designs, drawings, and specificationsEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulationsLead detailed design discussions aligned with program goalsTeam LeadershipLead and mentor engineers, designers, and project managersAssign tasks, set performance expectations, and conduct evaluationsFoster a collaborative and high-performing team environmentQuality & Risk ManagementEstablish and maintain MEP quality control processesConduct site inspections and auditsIdentify risks, manage change orders, and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesFinancial & Client ManagementDevelop and manage program budgetsMonitor costs, implement value engineering, and prepare financial reportsServe as primary client contact for MEP mattersManage expectations and resolve issues effectivelyContinuous ImprovementStay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practicesDrive process improvements to increase efficiency and productivityContribute knowledge and best practices across teamsMust-Have SkillsStrong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and industry regulationsProficiency in BIM coordination and clash detectionExceptional organizational and written/verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Autodesk Suite (Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks)Core CompetenciesAdvanced technical expertise in MEP systems and engineering project deliveryStrong program and project management across multiple concurrent projectsLeadership experience mentoring teams and driving collaboration across stakeholdersProficiency with BIM tools (Revit MEP, AutoCAD), project management software, and energy modeling toolsExpert financial management, budgeting, cost control, and value engineeringStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesClear and concise presenter to senior leadershipCommitment to safety, compliance, and continuous professional developmentNice to HaveIndustrial experience (strongly preferred)Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site programsExperience & EducationExperience managing complex MEP engineering projectsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering requiredMaster’s degree preferred
