Clinical Director
Role DescriptionThe Clinical Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality clinical services, including mental health and behavioral health programs, to address the needs of unhoused, runaway, and vulnerable youth and young adults. Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision to staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, developing program strategies, and collaborating with internal teams and community partners to improve client outcomes. The Clinical Director will also contribute to the creation and implementation of evidence-based practices and ensure the organization’s mission is reflected in all clinical initiatives.Clinical Leadership & Oversight - Serve as the clinical authority for assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and service delivery.Staff Management & Supervision - Directly supervise therapists and Care Coordinator Manager; oversee Care Coordinators through indirect supervisor.Program & Operational Management - Oversee the daily operations of therapy and case management programs, manage the clinical on-call rotations, and ensure staffing levels and schedules meet program and client needs.Compliance, Quality, and Risk Management - Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Medicaid, licensing boards, and accrediting entities. Serve as the Client Rights Officer Training & Staff Development - Develop and deliver new hire orientation training, ensure all staff maintain current licensure, certifications, and required trainings.QualificationsMinimum of a Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a closely related field required LISW or LPCC in the State of Ohio required LISW-S or LPCC-S preferred Minimum of 8 years of working experience in program development, administrative functions, budgetary, quality and compliance or related area requiredMinimum of 3 years of supervisory experience managing others required Strong understanding of mental health and its application in youth-focused servicesExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with other teams and community-based organizationsFor additional information visit our career site: https://daybreakdayton.org/about-us/join-our-team/
