This role is required to ensure KPS Global associates can work in a safe and productive environment and consistently meet customer requirements.Major ResponsibilitiesPerforming duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct requirementsOperating hand tools including electrical and pneumatic powered toolsTroubleshooting production equipment, powered industrial trucks, hoists, tools, and company vehicles to determine maintenance and service requirementsRepairing and installing complex electrical and mechanical systems such as hydraulic/pneumatic pumps, tools, and automated/numerically controlled plant equipment such as programmable logic controllersReading and interpreting complex schematics, blue prints, diagrams, and service manuals to determine appropriate maintenance and repair needsFabricating complex production/facility systems using welding, milling, plumbing, and pipefittingPerforming preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities as requiredLoading, unloading, lifting, and moving parts and equipment in preparation of inspection, maintenance, or service using powered industrial trucks and overhead lifting equipment as requiredCompleting and maintaining all associated electronic processes and paperwork including checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving materialsMaintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standardsRequired SkillsAdvanced comprehension and math skillsRequired ExperienceHigh School Diploma Required5 - 8 years of industrial maintenance experienceProficient with MS Office programsAble to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required equipment, tools, and powered industrial trucksAble to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and measuring devicesAble to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems including PLC’sBasic ability to read, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the work dayMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouchMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistanceMust be able to climb and balanceMust be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feelMust have manual dexterity in hands for tool usageMust be able to visually inspect productsMust be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environmentMust be able to wear all required personal protective equipment
