Per Diem Radiation Technician

*Per Diem Position Crater Lake Surgery Center, a free-standing pain management surgery center located in Medford, OR is seeking an experienced Certified Radiologic Technologist. Ideal candidate will have pain management and spine experience. Per Diem Position covering shifts Monday through Thursday. Hours of operation: 7am-5pm Certified Radiologic Technologist Under minimum supervision, the radiology technologist performs fluoroscopic procedures as requested by the physician. Specialties: Pain Management and Spine Essential Functions Utilizes radiologic equipment according manufacturer’s recommendations and facility policies and procedures Ability to address all aspects of care related to fluoroscopy Ensures on-going communication with the surgeon, CRNA, and other members of the surgical team Assists with the turnover of room to ensure optimal efficiency Provides input regarding equipment needs and supplies Demonstrates cost containment techniques Utilizes time effectively Adheres to established safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Demonstrates good judgement and reasoning when investigating and solving problems Demonstrates excellent prioritization and problem-solving skills Provides and maintains an organized work area and physical environment following infection control guidelines and policies and procedures Works well with supervisor and all others in positions of authority Promotes a high degree of cooperation, communication and coordination with other employees and physicians Skills and Requirements Current Certified Radiologic Technologist One-year recent experience, preferred BLS within 30 days of hire Job Types: Part-time, Contract Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift No nights No weekends On call License/Certification: ARRT (R) Certification (Required) Ability to Relocate: Medford, OR 97504: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
