About the Opportunity: The Remote Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the financial operations of the finance department. This role ensures the integrity of financial data, facilitates smooth financial processes, and contributes to timely financial reporting and compliance.3. Responsibilities:Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processesPerform regular bank and credit card reconciliationsPrepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments promptlyMaintain the general ledger and accurately record financial transactionsAssist in preparing financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheetsSupport month-end and year-end closing proceduresEnsure compliance with financial policies and regulationsHandle payroll processing and respond to related queries4. Requirements:Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar accounting roleStrong proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS ExcelSolid understanding of bookkeeping principles and best practicesHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skills; ability to work independently remotelyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAccounting qualification (e.g., AAT) is advantageousExperience in media or entertainment sectors is desirable but not required5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Compensation for this role ranges from $25 to $30 per hour (USD)6.
