NW Patient Accounts Customer Service Rep - PFS Call Center

Pfs Call Center Hybrid | Full-Time | Varied ShiftResponsibilities & Requirements Position duties include, but are not limited to the following:Responding to inquiries regarding billing and collection processing in compliance with CBO patient financial services departmental policies and proceduresThis position requires working with patients and other callers in response to both hospital and physician billing questionsThe position also requires a working knowledge of all insurance payers to answer patient questionsThis position also requires a high level knowledge of the types of hospital and professional servicesStrong understanding about how denials impact the service related to the patient's benefit/coverage plan.Performs other duties as assignedJob Requirements High school diploma3 years previous experience in hospital or physicianPrevious experience in patient accounting, medical billing, & medical terminologyPreferred Qualifications Associate's degreeOverview Kettering health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest ohio.
