Manager II, Technical Support Engineer
For our client, we are seeking a Manager II Technical Support Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $145,747 – $300,067 annuallyResponsibilities Lead and coach a regional team of Partner/Support Engineers, ensuring accountability for team objectives and performance Develop team members through feedback and career growth opportunities while maintaining a psychologically safe environment Own relationships and metrics for a diverse segment of advertisers and partners, ensuring user-centric solutions are delivered Scale support efforts into new customer segments and adapt tools based on segment needs, validating approaches in practice Manage the resolution of complex technical issues as the primary escalation point and support the team's recovery from setbacks Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships to prioritize advertiser needs and opportunities Establish team metrics and pursue continuous improvement initiatives to optimize outcomes and operationsQualifications 2+ years of people/team management experience leading technical teams focused on client support 5+ years of overall experience in Support/Solution/Partner Engineering, preferably in Ad Tech or MarTech Strong technical skills in reading/writing complex scripts and performing data manipulation, especially with APIs using Python or shell scripting, and SQL analysis Demonstrated commitment to team health and partner outcomes, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presenceBenefits Flexible work environment with remote/hybrid options available Dynamic and inclusive workplace culture focused on equity and inspiration Growth opportunities through coaching and career development Access to an office for collaboration as needed, based in Chicago or NYCOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
