Structural Engineer

This Structural Engineer role is an opportunity to contribute to projects that shape commercial and hospitality environments from early planning through final delivery. You will play an important part in supporting structural design work and partnering with multidisciplinary teams to help bring projects from vision to reality.ResponsibilitiesDevelop structural design loads and perform calculations for key building componentsTranslate that work into accurate, code-compliant construction documentsWork on commercial and hospitality projects from concept through constructionSupport hospitality work with brand-specific requirements and review shop drawings for conformanceCollaborate with architects, internal design teams, project managers, clients, and MEP specialistsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil (with a structural emphasis)0-5 years of post-graduate structural engineering experience, including experience designing commercial building structuresWorking knowledge of applicable codes and structural analysisHands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and RISAAbility to collaborate effectively with architects, internal design teams, project managers, clients, and MEP specialistsEligibility to work in the United StatesPE or SE licensure, or a willingness to work toward licensure, is a plusBenefitsMost of Ramaker's employee-owners work remotely from their homes, but have the option to work from our Madison, WI office if they prefer an onsite or hybrid work environment.
