East West Bank gives people the confidence to reach further.Job Summary Responsible for underwriting and managing the Asset Based Finance portfolio and operations to achieve efficiencies and quality of the process and product, retention and expansion of existing client relationship, growth of total client assets and net growth in relationships. Primary performance responsibilities include managing the relationship in the portfolio, analyzing financial data to determine the merits of loan requests, recommending structure and underwriting new opportunities. Job DutiesEnsure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines. As appropriate to experience, co-manage commercial relationships by analyzing financial data to determine the merits of specific loan requests, and recommend structure as well as aggressively managing the client relationship Responsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio. Assist with due diligence/analysis with new client relationships, opportunity memos as appropriate. Monitor loan repayment activities and financial condition of borrowing clients and take necessary action to collect past due accounts and ongoing repayment ability of all other accounts. May assume overall responsibility for the credit quality of the loan portfolio. Make presentations on specific loans and participate in the bank’s Loan Approval Process, recommending approval and appropriate structure of credits. Manage interaction with internal ABL Monitoring and Loan Administration operations to ensure a smooth process.Participate in Asset Based Finance portfolio management and reviewPerforms other duties as assigned. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field. MBA preferred.4+ years of ABL Underwriting experience5+ years of experience in Asset Based Financing.Good understanding of financial institution departments and activities.Demonstrate great customer service via phone and emailHigh energy level and ability to sell to customers’ needs.Ability to close, prospect and have sales planningGood communication and organizational skills.CompensationThe base pay range for this position is USD $150,000.00/Yr. - USD $225,000.00/Yr.
