Our client is a premier independent marina located on Smith Cove in Niantic, Connecticut, serving boaters in southeastern Connecticut for over 20 years. It is a Certified Clean Marina and operates as a fully solar-powered facility. The marina is well-established and currently operates at full capacity, with slips, storage, and moorings fully sold out heading into 2026.Salary$65,000–$85,000 base salary, negotiable based on experience, plus performance-based bonus tied to measurable digital outcomes (ecommerce growth, customer acquisition, and revenue migration from Amazon to direct channels).BenefitsHealth insurance (70% employer-paid for individual coverage), 401(k) with 100% match on first 3% contributed, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave, and sponsored professional development and training opportunities.Job SummaryThe E-Commerce & Digital Growth Manager is a hands-on digital operator responsible for connecting and scaling all digital revenue channels across a multi-faceted waterfront business in Niantic, CT. This role bridges operations and digital execution across marine parts, service, marina operations, restaurant, and experiences. Acting as the organization’s internal digital partner, this person owns the strategy and execution of ecommerce, paid media, email marketing, analytics, and website management to drive unified growth across the business.Job Responsibilities: Manage and grow Shopify ecommerce platform, including leading migration from Amazon to direct-to-consumer sales Develop and execute email marketing strategy (segmentation, automation, lifecycle campaigns) using platforms such as Constant Contact or Klaviyo Plan, launch, and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other relevant channels Maintain and update WordPress website content, structure, performance, and integrations Lead digital marketing efforts for marine services (service campaigns, seasonal promotions, Google Ads, email outreach) Support marina, restaurant, and destination experiences with digital campaigns, booking systems, and customer engagement tools Manage external contractors including social media, creative, photography, and technical vendors Build and maintain dashboards translating digital performance into clear business insights for leadership Support reservation and booking systems (e.g., FareHarbor, OpenTable/Resy) and ensure alignment with marketing efforts Identify opportunities across all business units and execute data-driven digital growth initiativesQualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing and ecommerce roles Direct experience managing Shopify stores and WordPress websites Proven ability to independently build and optimize Google Ads and paid social campaigns Experience with email marketing platforms and lifecycle automation (Constant Contact, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar) Working knowledge of GA4, Google Search Console, and performance reporting tools Ability to manage multiple digital channels without relying on agencies for execution Strong communication skills with non-technical business leaders and operators Comfortable working across ecommerce, hospitality, retail, service, or destination-based businesses Demonstrated success driving measurable growth through digital channels ,
