Material Handler- 3rd Shift
*Job Summary*
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler for our third shift to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, loading, unloading, and organizing materials to ensure smooth warehouse operations. *Duties*
* Load and unload shipments using various heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes while adhering to safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards.
* Operate RF scanners for accurate order picking, inventory tracking, and shipping & receiving processes.
* Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment.
* Manage inventory by conducting regular cycle counts, maintaining organized storage areas, and updating inventory records.
* Safely handle materials through manual handling techniques and heavy lifting to prevent injury and damage.
* Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments and documenting all transactions thoroughly.
* Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse operations, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety standards.
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related warehouse operations roles.
* Familiarity with order picker equipment, forklift operation, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and crane operation is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanner technology.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual materials handling tasks efficiently.
* Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
* Prior experience with shipping & receiving procedures within a warehouse setting.
* Understanding of OSHA safety protocols related to warehouse work environments.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to follow safety guidelines diligently.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
