Facility Coordinator

TITLE: Facility CoordinatorDEPARTMENT: OperationsREPORTS TO: Facility ManagerDrillChem, a leading provider of drilling fluids, drilling fluid additives, and fluids expertise to the oil and gas industry, seeks an Operations Manager for its Bakken operations. This position is based in Williston, ND. The Operations Manager reports directly to the Director of Operations.OVERVIEWThe Facility Coordinator position is primarily responsible for organizing and managing all inventory of DrillChem’s products, loading and un-loading trucks, packaging/re-packaging products, and all other general operational duties assigned by the Facility Manager.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESInventory & Warehouse ManagementOrganize and maintain accurate inventory levels for all DRILLCHEM products.Coordinate and execute transfers of inventory among DRILLCHEM domestic stock points.Ensure proper packaging and re-packaging of products to meet customer and regulatory requirements.Monitor product quality, identify damaged or non-conforming materials, and initiate corrective actions.Logistics & OperationsLoad and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Participate in on-call coverage during weeknights and on a rotating weekend schedule to support operational continuity.Process Improvement & ReportingIdentify opportunities for operational efficiencies, warehouse organization improvements, and cost reduction.Develop and implement process improvement strategies to enhance productivity and service levels.Track key operational metrics and provide regular updates to the Director of Operations.Support standardization of warehouse processes and best practices across locations.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with the sales team to improve supply chain responsiveness and customer satisfaction.Perform other duties as assigned to support operational objectives.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSDaily on-call pay for weeknights and weekend coverageHealth, Vision, and Dental Insurance401(k) retirement planReimbursement of approved business-related expensesEDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2 years of logistics or warehouse operations experience; oil and gas or chemical industry experience preferred.Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment and respond to after-hours needs.
