The Research Farms provide a dynamic environment for teaching, research, and extension opportunities, serving faculty, staff, and students across the college. This Research Farm Technician II role is a vital part of the team, supporting essential farm operations from maintaining and repairing farm equipment to assisting in various farm operations for support of crop production, and assisting with research projects and facilities as necessary. This position is located at the C. Oran Little Research Center ( LRC ) in Versailles.Responsibilities include general farm and facilities maintenance, such as:mowinghand trimminglandscape maintenanceplanting treestree/tree limb removal/cleanup, including felling treesroad repairsfence construction/repair, including paintingbuilding repairs/maintenance/paintingcalibrate pesticide application equipmentmix and apply pesticidesassist with construction projectsmaintain and improve aesthetics of the facilitiesother duties as assigned Why Join Us?
