Systems Engineer Sr - Level 3
Overview We are Lockheed Martin. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT), you will impact business by applying ingenuity, creativity, and ideas that support Lockheed’s current platforms including the F-35, F-22, F-16, C-130, and SkunkWorks. This role is part of the Air Vehicle Engineering team.
Basic Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
Experience in systems engineering development and/or decomposition, and application of processes and tools
Desired Skills Experience with hardware/software development & integration; or experience with mechanical systems/air vehicle systems
Experience with languages such as C/C++, Python, MATLAB
Knowledge of DOORS, JIRA, CATIA, or Dimension SPAR database development and management or similar programming
Good understanding of test design and test planning
Experience using quantitative models, risk management techniques, and analytical tools
Supplier Management experience
Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering principles and artifacts
Experience leading systems engineering activities and processes (lifecycle management)
Knowledge of Agile methodology
Experience briefing and interfacing with senior executives and senior military personnel
Strong oral & written communication skills; analytical thinking and physical science/engineering problem solving skills
Experience deriving system requirements from customer documents and/or developing Statements of Work
Security Clearance Government security clearance required. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.

Salary Annual base salary ranges from $89,300 to $157,550 in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC. In major metropolitan areas of California, Massachusetts, and New York, the range is $102,800 to $178,135. Salary reflects scope and responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, and market considerations. This position is incentive plan eligible.
