Haas & Wilkerson Insurance is seeking an Account Administrator to join our Personal Lines team. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys supporting others, building strong client relationships, and contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.As an Account Administrator, you’ll provide administrative and service support to our Personal Lines Account Managers and Account Executives while helping ensure a seamless client experience. You’ll assist with policy servicing activities, documentation, renewals, billing inquiries, and day-to-day account administration that helps keep our clients protected and informed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing details accurately, and supporting a collaborative team.Primary ResponsibilitiesReview completed policy endorsements for accuracyProcess policy change requests and related documentationPrepare Evidence of Insurance documents and Insurance ID cards as requestedProcess and distribute incoming mail digitally for Personal Lines accountsPrepare and distribute renewal questionnaires to insuredsAttach renewals and compare policies to prior terms to identify differencesDownload inspection reports from carrier websitesMonitor daily carrier activity lists and follow up as neededResearch and resolve billing questionsEscalate issues or concerns to the Account Manager or Account Executive when appropriateProvide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service to internal and external contactsMaintain accurate documentation of all activities within the agency management systemEnsure all work is completed with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrityRequirementsHigh School diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role within a professional office environmentPrevious insurance agency, carrier, or Personal Lines experience is highly valuedStrong customer service mindset with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and deadlinesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office programs and strong overall computer literacyExperience using an agency management system is a plusAbout UsHaas & Wilkerson Insurance is a family-owned, independent insurance brokerage based in Kansas City, serving organizations and individuals across North America for more than 85 years.
