Weekend Residential Assistant Supervisor

The 24/7 shelter serves abused, neglected, and homeless youth ages 11-17, males and females. Weekend Supervisor actively engages with youth to enhance their progress towards individual goals. This role plays an essential role in supporting youth as they build life skills, participate in school, seek employment, and increase their social-emotional wellbeing. This role takes call on the weekend and could potentially assist in coverage on the weekend.Job Responsibilities:1st Shift: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday and SundayProvide supervision, support, and behavior management as needed to youthOversee the safety of residents and the facilityAnswer all hotline calls and providing crisis counseling as necessaryComplete required shift documentationPrepare meals for youthEngage in programming with youthEnsure cleanliness of the facilityCollaborate with Treatment Team regarding youth progress toward goalsAttend monthly employee meetings and training as necessaryProvide coverage as necessaryRequirements:Must be 21 years of ageTwo years’ experience working with at-risk adolescents preferredMust have a High School diploma, some college preferredHave a valid driver’s license with a good driving record for at least the past 5 yearsResidential experience a plusWhat we offer:Professional DevelopmentEducation Awards20% Childcare Assistance Discount for onsite childcare (based on days worked)Option to participate in the 403b Retirement planThis is a non-exempt position with an hourly wage range of $16 - $18 for 15 hours per week.
