Maintenance Technician

Job Description We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is experienced and highly self-motivated to be part of our team in a 273 Unit Residential Cooperative. The position will require an individual who can execute quality work in a timely manner, interact daily in a professional and courteous manner with residents and staff, as well organizational skills to organize their workload and complete service requests. This position is expected to know or quickly learn all building systems and acquire the appropriate skills and knowledge to adequately support the building. Training will be provided to obtain the required license and certifications necessary to do the job, if not already certified. Full-Time – 8 Hour Shifts - 40 hour per week Must be flexible with shift schedule. Responsibilities and Required Skills: Pay ranges from $22 to $26 per hour depending on experience. · Enter daily data on maintenance request status, updates, and other information in Building Link. · Perform preventative and general maintenance on a scheduled basis, and perform other related duties as assigned. · Compete daily, weekly, and/or other reports of system status as directed by Maintenance Manager. · Ability to read and understand schematics, technical materials, and manufacturer manuals. · Detailed working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hardware, meters, hand, and power tools. · General knowledge of industry guidelines and regulations. · Capable of climbing ladders up to a height of thirty (30) feet and lift up to sixty (60) pounds. · Must have a valid Driver’s License. · High School Diploma or GED · 2 or more years previous experience necessary Benefits: 100% Paid Health Plan Life Insurance, Short/Long Term Disability 401K Paid Time Off Paid Certification Courses Aflac plans are available and optional.
