Warehouse Supervisor
Warehouse SupervisorWe are searching for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center. This position directs and coordinates the activities of the warehouse and transportation operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities and personnel. Supervisors should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.Responsibilities Include:Responsible for warehouse inventory control for the shiftResponsible for routing for the next day's delivery ticketsResponsible for ensuring shift is pulling and loading items for the next day deliveryMeasure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee's performance to Warehouse ManagerDetermines staffing levels and assign workloadAdditional duties or special projects as assigned.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse/distributions or related experience required.Good communication skills, both written and verbalBi-lingual in English/Spanish preferredGood organizational and time management skillsEffectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organizationStrong customer service skills to resolve customer complaints and concernsMust be able to operate various pieces of equipment including forklifts, order pickers, and reach trucksAdd and subtract three-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's and perform these operations using units of U.S. money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 poundsCompensation & Benefits:The pay range for this role is $80,000 to $85,000/year. This range represents what the company reasonably expects to pay an associate for this role based on current market data, internal equity, and other business factors. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations.
