Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to students with moderate to high support needs in a school-based setting in Seattle. The Occupational Therapist will support students in developing functional, academic, sensory, motor, and daily living skills that promote success within the educational environment.Position DetailsFull-time37.5 hours per weekSchool-based settingCaseload: Students with moderate to high support needsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide occupational therapy evaluations, assessments, and intervention services for students with identified needsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goalsDeliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to studentsSupport students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, adaptive functioning, visual motor integration, and daily living skillsCollaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student successMaintain accurate documentation including therapy notes, progress reports, evaluations, and IEP participationRecommend adaptive equipment, classroom accommodations, and environmental modificationsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP meetingsMonitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriateMaintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulationsQualificationsMaster's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programActive Washington Occupational Therapist License requiredActive ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification requiredPrevious pediatric or school-based experience preferredExperience working with students with moderate to high support needs preferredStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to move throughout school campuses and classroomsAbility to lift, position, and assist students as neededAbility to utilize therapy equipment and materials during treatment sessionsBenefitsCompetitive compensationWeekly payBenefits package availableSupportive school-based team environmentOpportunities for professional growth and development Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-TimeWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services to students with moderate to high support needs in a school-based setting in Seattle.
