Oklahoma City (zip code 73112) features a welcoming community, vibrant arts, and plenty of parks and recreation—an excellent place to live and explore during your assignment.Job DetailsLocation: Oklahoma City, OK 73112 (Oklahoma City CT jobs / Oklahoma City healthcare)Role: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel)Setting: Hospital - Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology DepartmentEmployment Type: Travel Contract - 13 weeksStart Date: 05/04/2026Shift: 2 day shifts per week, each 4 hours long, with weekend coverage requiredEstimated Weekly Pay: $2,200 – $2,360 (competitive pay for travel CT technologist)QualificationsRegistered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) — Radiologic Technologist / CT certification preferredCT Certification highly desired (Computed Tomography credential)BLS (Basic Life Support) certification requiredMinimum 3 years of medical imaging experience (excluding school); experience as a CT scanner operator or radiology tech preferredExperience with Philips CT equipment highly desiredExperience with IV contrast administration and contrast safety protocolsStrong patient positioning, communication, and professionalism in a hospital settingResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for diagnostic CT exams; explain procedures to ensure patient safety and comfortOperate CT scanners to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissuesPerform radiographic/fluoroscopic C-arm exams and portable imaging as requiredInject IV contrast media per department protocol and monitor patients for reactionsComplete all required documentation, requisitions, and PACS/image routing in a timely mannerExecute protocol reconstructions, printing, and image post-processing as directed by RadiologistTroubleshoot equipment issues and report/coordinate repairs; maintain CT scanner and suppliesTransport patients to/from the department and collaborate with nursing/floor staff to deliver excellent patient careDemonstrate professionalism and courtesy with patients, families, coworkers, and physiciansAttend required in-services, orientations, and maintain continuing competency in diagnostic imagingPerform other duties as assigned in the radiology departmentWhy ApplyHands-on CT experience in a hospital setting with support from an established radiology teamOpportunity to work with advanced CT technology (Philips experience valued)Explore Oklahoma City while on assignment — a friendly city with cultural and outdoor activitiesApply now to be considered for this travel CT Technologist position in Oklahoma City.
