Room Attendant/Housekeeper

A Room Attendant/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, comfortable, and attractive guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This role ensures guests have a positive experience by providing high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service.Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards Change bed linens and replace towels and toiletries Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and dust furniture and surfaces Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and fixtures Restock guest room supplies and amenities Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to management Ensure all rooms are prepared and inspected before guest check-in Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment Dispose of trash and dirty linens properly Assist with cleaning public areas when neededRequirements / Qualifications Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good attention to detail and time management skills Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidaysSkills Cleaning and sanitation knowledge Organization and multitasking Reliability and punctuality Teamwork Customer service Attention to detail
