Locum Tenens Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgeon Idaho Falls, ID | ??? Acute Care Facility Assignment Duration: 6 monthsOn-Call Coverage: 24-hour shifts (7 AM???7 AM) Coverage Dates: August 14???18 September 11???15 November 6???10 December 4???8 We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon to provide 24/7 surgical call coverage for adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. This is an excellent locum opportunity for a seasoned surgeon who thrives in a collaborative, high-acuity setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform adult CVT surgeries (cardiac, thoracic, vascular) Provide 24/7 on-call coverage and respond to emergent surgical needs Participate in daily ICU and post-op patient rounds Work with a full-spectrum OR and ICU support team (NP/PA first-assists, surgical techs, CRNAs/anesthesiologists, ICU nurses) Qualifications American Board of Thoracic Surgery ??? Board Certified Active Idaho Medical License, DEA, and CSR (Required for immediate credentialing) Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred Strong team-oriented mindset and comfort with high-acuity caseloads This position offers a rewarding blend of clinical autonomy, surgical volume, and a collaborative environment in scenic Idaho Falls.
