Structural Engineering Project Manager

As Structural Engineering Project Manager for Value Engineering, you will work with a group of talented like-minded individuals in designing innovative civil engineering solutions that exceed customer expectations. We are looking for an experienced engineer with established project management skills to join our team as we connect people and communities by providing innovative transportation solutions to the greater Lansing and Detroit areas. Specifically, you will: Project Management Interact with clients and team members Negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, schedules and resources Assist with proposals Perform quality assurance Team Management Manage and develop engineers' structural engineering work and capabilities Manage and direct tasks and implement work plan Provide technical direction and guidance to staff as well as hands-on design Client Relationships Develop and manage client relationships Develop and manage client expectations to deliver projects Problem solve changes that may arise on the project delivery with the client Negotiate and manage contracts, budgets, schedules and resources Assist with proposals What’s in it for you… Competitive salary Bonus eligibility Paid time off Professional development Holiday pay Health coverage Required: Bachelor degree in engineering 5 years of relevant industry experience P.E. license Proficiency with various structural design software packages Knowledgeable of AASHTO and FHWA design codes and standards Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the United States Preferred: Project Management Certification Details: This is a full-time, salaried/exempt position; general office hours are 8 am – 5 pm weekdays with occasional evening and weekend work as needed APPLY TODAY!
