They are creators, architects, nurses, researchers, programmers, marketers, facilitators, developers, investors, and caregivers, all focused on making a positive impact on the lives of residents, their families and team members.We are looking for a HOSTESS/HOST to join our amazing team!Responsibilities:Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphereWork closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food and dining programsMake and manage the seating charts with sections for the serversReview daily menus and specials with residentsTakes and delivers accurate meal orders to residents and guestsHelp remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from the dining room as neededAssist in resetting the dining roomAdhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practicesAssist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme mealsWhen applicable, acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining optionsEnsure servers have completed their side duties before letting them goEnsure the next day's menus are printed and readyCreate a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staffAttending Pre-Meal stand up held for all dining and kitchen staffMay perform other duties as needed and/or assignedRequirementsBasic reading, writing, and mathematical skillsStrong communication and teamwork skillsStrong organization and time management skillsAble to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or team members. Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction.
