In the AI Software team, we build the Qualcomm AI Engine direct to enable OEMs and developers to run their deep neural network (DNN) models on Qualcomm Hexagon Processors. Our team works with OEMs and developers to develop and optimize DNN models for the Qualcomm AI Stack. We are building an optimized on-device AI stack with cutting-edge hardware to run deep neural networks on devices such as phones, cars and smart appliances. In this position you will build high-performance software for AI engines to extend our AI solutions into industry-leading customer use cases.ResponsibilitiesValidate the Qualcomm ML SW SDK features for computing products.Test applications and tools developed for the Qualcomm Machine Learning SW stack on computing products.Maintain and improve the Qualcomm ML SW automation test framework.Develop Qualcomm ML SW SDK test cases and analyze customer use cases.Collaborate with the development team on regression triage, bug analysis, and issue tracking.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and at least 2 years of hardware engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or related work experience; or Master's degree with at least 1 year of related experience; or a PhD in a related field.Minimum of 2 years of software development and/or testing experience.1+ year of Python and other scripting languages.1+ year of C++ programming.1+ year of experience with Jenkins and other CI tools.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.Experience with version control systems (GIT).Experience with Linux and Windows development environments.Preferred QualificationsExperience with embedded system programming and/or testing.Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX.Knowledge of cutting-edge generative AI models.Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits$114,400.00 – $164,400.00. This range reflects the broad pay scale for the position. In addition to base salary, the role offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual RSU grants.
