Engineer 1On-Site Role | Moss Point, MSCompensation: $30About The RoleOur Client is seeking an entry-level Engineer 1 to support the design and construction of power-related systems. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-5 years of related engineering experience and an accredited bachelor's degree. The Engineer 1 will apply engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to develop design options, prepare construction specifications, and support estimate preparation. The position also involves providing guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages. The Engineer 1 will play a key role in ensuring safety, understanding planning and design processes, collaborating with internal departments, supporting construction and maintenance teams, and providing quality assurance for contractor work. The ideal candidate will possess introductory engineering knowledge, basic problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to build effective relationships with staff and vendors.
