Sr. Safety Specialist

Overview We are seeking a Senior Corporate Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Canon Business Process Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities Develop safety policies, training courses, and certification programs. Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and JHA to identify hazards. Create safety learning plans and facilitate training on safety practices. Conduct investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement of safety to minimize workplace injuries. Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety best practices. Track safety metrics, trends, and recordable rates.
