Burn Table Operator

Burn Table Operator – Youngstown, OH A well-established local company is looking to add a Burn Table Operator to their team! This is a great opportunity with steady hours, possible overtime, weekly pay, and wages based on experience. Shift: 10:30pm-6:00am Pay: 17-21 hourly (weekly pay) Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate programmable burn tables to cut steel plates, structural materials, and extrusions. Operate cutting equipment including multi-torch systems, hand torches, and oxygen-acetylene flame cutters. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, cutting lists, and verbal instructions. Determine cutting paths and procedures based on job specifications. Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on burn equipment. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety policies and wear required PPE at all times. Regularly lift and move materials up to 70 lbs. Job Requirements Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with industrial equipment. Reliable and dependable work habits. Able to read a tape measure accurately. Strong basic math skills. Willing to learn and follow company-specific procedures. Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
