OverviewHOURLY RATE (DEPENDING ON SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): $30.57 - $37.56SCOPE: The Imaging Coordinator is the initial point of contact for all patients referred to Bayside Imaging. The scheduler is responsible for scheduling imaging appointments at the appropriate Bayside location. Schedulers process all incoming imaging orders from providers both internal and external to Epic Care.ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform all imaging scheduling functionsRespond to incoming telephone calls regarding imaging appointmentsEnter patient information accurately into Epic EMR system when applicableFollow through on all direct clinician requests communicated by phone, email or through Epic EMREnsure proper medical records are present in Epic EMR prior to imaging appointmentProvide modality-specific pre-procedural instructionsManage imaging order work queue in EpicOther duties as assignedQualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma/GED requiredMedical Terminology preferred1 Year of Imaging Scheduling preferred1 Year of experience with Epic EMR preferredPHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
