This role combines sales expertise with event planning finesse to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability. The manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments, ensuring flawless execution from initial inquiry to event completion.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Develop and execute sales strategies to attract catering business from corporate, social, and community segments.Respond to inquiries, conduct site tours, and create customized proposals that align with client needs and hotel capabilities.Negotiate contracts, pricing, and event details to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction.Collaborate with culinary, banquet, and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and event logistics.Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, event planners, and community organizations.Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
