About This RoleWells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for our Enterprise CI/CD DevOps Platform Services team in the Chief Technology Office (CTO) line of business.This opportunity is available for a motivated and experienced Infrastructure Engineer with DevOps experience who can work closely with application development teams to support the applications and maintain daily operational requirements for an enterprise-wide effort. Engineers are responsible for interfacing with the application development teams to assist them in determining the most efficient and value-added method of automating their application Lifecycle development activities that move their applications through the process to implementation. In addition to these consultative activities, the Engineer will work with the application teams, technology partners, and all relevant teams to support the application team and their applications into the DevOps automation service.In This Role, You WillLead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applicationsParticipate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructureEvaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goalsReview and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the futureDesign, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third-party vendorsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesMake decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirementsDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successRecommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve resultsCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsDesign, build, and operate highly available, secure, and performant infrastructure across Windows, Linux, and multi-cloud environmentsLead automation initiatives to eliminate manual toil, accelerate incident response, and prevent recurring issuesImplement and evolve observability platforms using SLIs/SLOs, Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native monitoring toolsDrive proactive monitoring, alerting, logging, and telemetry across hybrid and cloud environmentsApply SRE practices to move teams from reactive to proactive, data-driven, and increasingly self-healing systemsDesign and integrate intelligent automation and AI-driven tooling for observability, predictive maintenance, and vulnerability remediationServe as a lead technical advisor for CI/CD and deployment platforms including Artifactory, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, UrbanCode Deploy, Harness, and GitHub ActionsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education4+ years of experience with Artifactory Configuration through Artifactory UI3+ years of experience with Artifactory Administration or Platform Infrastructure3+ years of experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven, MSBuild, Gradle, or Node.jsDesired Qualifications:5+ years of experience in systems administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)Experience supporting an enterprise-level environmentExperience with interpreting and writing with scripting languages such as python, PowerShell, and experience with Linux OSAbility to interact with all levels of an organization including managementStrong team or technical leadership experienceStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsGood analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work effectively in both a team environment and independentlyFamiliarity with OpenShift (OCP), Kubernetes, and container-based platformsOperational and trouble shooting skills spans over multiple build and deploy toolsAwareness of responsible AI usage, including security and validation considerationsJob Expectations:This position has a hybrid work scheduleAbility to work additional hours as neededAbility to work on call as assignedThis position does not offer Visa sponsorshipPosting End Date:2 Jun 2026Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.We Value Equal OpportunityWells Fargo is an equal opportunity employer.
